Description

Woodlarks Workshop Trust provides care for disabled adults. We have 22 rooms, each with a small lounge and bedroom area. We encourage our residents to attend our "workshop" facility centered around craft skills such as painting, rug making, embroidery, mosaics and many more. We currently provide a weekly physiotherapy service and run our own transport of mini-buses.

We are promoting "change" at Woodlarks with the residents developing life skills both internally and with outside partners.

We have a "2 star" grading from our latest CSCI assessment and are looking to improve this further. We are assessing a redevelopment and refurbishment program for our accommodation to provide on-suite facilities in all rooms and with kitchens in the independent living rooms we are building.

This is an exciting time for the residents and everyone connected with Woodlarks. With the expansion of our facilities we will have more accommodation for new placements.
