Description

Whitehill House is a provider of quality care for adults with learning or physical disabilities. The building itself is a colonial style bungalow located in a rural woodland area nr Caterham and Bletchingley.

Being a bungalow the accommodation is all on one floor, so completely wheelchair accessible. The communal areas consist of a large lounge, separate dining area and conservatory. The gardens to the side and rear of our home are accessed form the wrap around veranda, with a large paved area with gazebo. We enjoy BBQs on the patio in the Summer.

Personal accommodation is all single rooms, and service users are actively encouraged to decorate their room to their personal taste. Assisted bathrooms are easily accessible to all.

All service users are able to participate in daily activities and the day to day running of the home, we enable them to influence key decisions about how their home is run.

Most service users attend a local day centre, and their are opportunities to take day trips out, shopping, meals out and shows. All service users enjoy holidays too, many going abroad every year.
