The Pines (Hindhead)

Description

The Pines at Hindhead, is part of the Whitmore Vale Housing Association that provides housing solutions for adults with learning and physical disabilities.

The Pines is situated in the friendly community of Hindhead, with easy access from the A3. As a large detached house, The Pines has been adapted to suit service users needs, and provides quality accommodation for up to 5 adults with learning and physical disabilities.

The main lounge area is light and airy with beautiflul views over it's own gardens and the valley beyond. It is connected to the dining room through glass doors. There is also a well equipped kitchen and laundry, as well as a sensory room.

All personal accommodation is in single rooms, some of which have en suite facilities. All other bathrooms have been suitably adapted for use.

Service users at The Pines have complex needs, but are supported by a team of dedicated carers to live life to the full. They are enabled to make decisions over the day to day running of the home and participate in daily activities such as cooking and cleaning. All service users are able to access local day centre facilities as well as take part in activities provided at the Home, such as movement and physio sessions, art and craft, swimming, music as well as spending time in the sensory room.

The sensory room is equipped to the highest standard with a water bed, different music and lighting settings, soft toys and other sensory equipment.

Service users healthcare needs are also met, with access to local Gp services, chiropodist, dentist and aromotherapist.
