Tendacare

Description

Tendacare is an organisation which provides care staff to service users in their own homes mostly to the elderly but also to younger adults with disabilities.

Homecare may involve activities of a personal nature such as:-

• bathing or showering
• making the bed
• meal and snack preparation
• getting up in the morning
• going to bed at night time
• assisting with taking medication

With an existing care package in place we can assist with shopping, sitting in, taking to appointments and short outings.

Usually the care visits take either up to the half hour or up to the hour. When a non obilgatory visit is made to you by one of our assessment staff we will discuss with you (and your representative if required) the level of care required, draw up a plan of care with you, explain how much it will cost and the invoicing procedure.

Following your agreement of the care plan we will introduce a member(s) of our highly regarded care team to deliver your homecare service. The number of care staff that you meet will depend on your requirements but we endeavour to give you continuity and a quality care service. If your needs change, and therefore an adjustment in your care service is required we will arrange to visit and review your care plan.
