Description

'Holly House' and 'Jan Norton House' are 2 purpose built properties that make a residential care home for up to 10 adults with autism or aspergrers. Care at Stonepit Close is provided by the National Autistic Society.

Although the 2 properties have separate entrances, they are linked by an office and hobby room, and are situated a short distance from Godalming town centre.

All personal accommodation is in single rooms, most on the first floor, with just 1 en suite room on the ground floor. Each property benefits from a domestic style kitchen, with utility room. A communal lounge, quiet lounge, conservatory and separate dining room. There is ample suitable bathroom, shower facilities and toilets. As well as an enclosed garden.

Each service users is encouraged to live the fulfilling lifestyle they choose and be as independent as possible. We support them to make their own choices and to be involved in Home life such as meal preparation and laundry. They are supported to attend local further education colleges, as well as art classes, canoeing, rock climbing etc.  We have 3 vehicles that enable  trips locally shopping and to the local sports centre, as well as further a field to the races at Ascot for example.
