The Robertson Nursing Home is a Tudor Style house situated on the outskirts of Godalming, set within beautiful extensive grounds. The Home is registered to care for people over the age of sixty, who need nursing care in order to lead their lives comfortably in a warm, homely and caring atmosphere.

The Robertson welcomes residents who require, either short term care, re-habilitation or long term continuing care.

We have both single and double bedrooms, each of which has a nurse call system, all with bright and attractive outlooks and many with their own facilities. We welcome prospective residents bringing their own familiar and treasured items into the home to decorate their rooms so that they may settle comfortably. We have two lounges, one with televison, and a dining room.

We offer planned nursing care that is based on taking account of our residents' individual needs, and their abilities and offering the care necessary to achieve an optimal quality of the life of their choice. We have a variety of specialist equipment including hoists and pressure relieving beds.

The Staff of The Robertson Nursing Home are predominately of British Nationality of which some have been at the home for twenty five years. The staff help residents plan their day to undertake a variety of activities of their choice. Our staff are trained to a very high standard and have acheived the Investors in People award.

Qualified Nurses lead ateam of Carers in offering highly skilled nursing care, under the supervision of the Matron. Prior to admission a full assessment of needs is identified,and a care plan developed and reviewed on a reguar basis.

Our Physiotherapist works with residents to ensure mobility, wherever possible. We also have regular visits from a Chiropodist and a Hairdresser.

Our Catering Manager endavours to offer homely cuisine, and sees all residents daily to ensure that individual requirements are catered for, and that a variety of food is available. As well as three hot meals a day, tea coffee and juices as well as snacks are available as required.

Our General Practitioner holds a surgery within the home on a weekly basis, and also visits as and when necessary. Residents are free to keep their own General Practitioner, so long as they agree and are able to visit the Home when necessary.

The Robertson Nursing Home was establised twenty eight years ago, we have an exellent reputation in the community for providing high standards of care, and are well know to all local professionals.
