Description

RNIB's Community Living Service aims to provide access to a range of vibrant and innovative services.  We deliver transitional opportunities, develop person centred autonomy and citizenship, maximising independence and work focused skills.  Participants and staff work in partnership to develop a culture of quality, championing the rights, responsibilities and respect for all.  The Community Living Service is made up of two main services:

  • Residential Services which includes Supported Living, Registered Care Homes and Domiciliary Care.
  • The Community Living Facilitation Scheme which supports Residential Services by ensuring the continued development and skills acquisition of participants, enabling them to achieve greater independency and autonomy over their own lives. This is a skills based developmental facilitation service.

Registered residential housing, registered domiciliary care/supported living and residential transition for blind or partially sighted people with additional disabilities, which include learning disabilities and autism.
