Description

Set in 1.8 acres in the beautiful Mole Valley district between Dorking and Reigate, Old Wall Cottage has been completely refurbished and provides a high quality service for those suffering from dementia related conditions.

The home boasts a warm, comfortable and homely atmosphere and this together with our highly committed and trained staff allows us to offer a wide range of individual care for each of our residents. At Old Wall Cottage we strive to maintain and preserve the dignity, individuality and privacy of all residents while remaining sensitive to their ever changing needs

Residents are encouraged to participate in the development of their Plan of Care and we whole heartedly encourage the involvement of family and friends in this process.

FEELING AT HOME

Here at Old Wall Cottage we concentrate on trying to make all our residnts feel as comfortable as possible and a large part of this is in the creation of a building that feels like 'Home'. The size and overall feel of the building helps with this but so too does our emphasis on activities.

For this reason Old Wall Cottage employs a full time qualified Activities Coordinator, who has the responsibility for developing, planning, organising and coordinating activities / hobbies within and external to the home.

We are fortunate to be situated between the towns of Dorking and Reigate, both offering a varied selection of local amenities. Plus we have a local village shop and post offifce within walking distance.

Here at Old Wall Cottage we are in a unique position to help and hopefully establish a new beginning. We can offer the comfort and re-assurance that is needed to move forward and help families see that life continues albeit in a new direction.
