La Luz is a large, bright and spacious private home registered as a Residential Care Home by the Care Quality Commission, who is responsible for ensuring that standards of care are met and maintained.

Our aim is to provide each resident with a caring and secure environment and the means to live life to the full extent, with privacy, independence and dignity.

Refurbished to a high standard, La Luz aims to provide the highest possible level of care to all its Residents in a friendly and informal atmosphere where a home from home environment is attained and where Residents can retain their independence and identity.

Following extensive building work, La Luz now accommodates up to 16 Residents and any illness that do no not require specialist nursing care is also accommodated, including terminal, unless otherwise suggested or directed by the GP’s.

La Luz does not have any restrictions as a care provider on any grounds including sex, age, religion, etc.
