Huntington House is a friendly, family-owned, country house nursing home set amongst 30 acres of gardens & grounds in an officially designated 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'.

We have been providing an excellent standard of care to the older members of our community since 1978. We are constantly updating our accommodation and facilities so that our residents can live in the comfort and security that they deserve.

Marilyn Hoare's vast experience in nursing older people is the cornerstone of the quality of care provided at Huntington House. Whilst it is our primary aim to assist residents in living life to the full, and continuing with the interests that they pursued at home, their nursing needs will be catered for in a highly professional, considerate and compassionate manner.

We firmly believe that the overall stimulation of the mind, body and soul through daily activities, good food, a well-stocked drinks trolley, happy staff and a safe and comfortable environment are as important to a resident's wellbeing as nursing care and medication. In our experience this holistic approach to care is essential in creating a thriving home.
