Description

Eastcroft is a luxurious private nursing home registered for 21 residents.
We have a variation of registrations which enables us to cater for people with dementia and mental health problems over 65 years of age.

We offer the highest standards of care together with excellent facilities whilst retaining a warm, welcoming, caring and friendly atmosphere.
Our aim is to provide an environment and philosophy conductive to the vital physical, emotional, safety and social well being of our individual residents.

To carry out a continuous comprehensive individual assessment, through care planning, implenmentation and review of care of each individual resident. Eastcroft is registered by The CQC under the inspection of the registration officers and a member of the Nursing Home Association.

We offer long term care and subject to space, week-end and holiday relief accommodation. Our statement of Purpose, Aims & Objectives, complaints procedure and recent reports are available in the hall for the visitors attention.

All bedrooms are tastefully furnished and feature en-suite facilities or vanity units. Each is equipped with centrally heated radiators with themostatically controlled valves and radiator covers for the safety and comfort of our residents.

A wall light and emergency call bell system are situated over the bed (which can only be cancelled when a nurse attends to the resident). Residents are encouraged to retain their own small items of furniture, keepsakes or other mementoes in their rooms.

All rooms and access routes are fully protected by a certificated fire alarm, detection and safety lighting system and fire escape routes. We place great emphasis on the comfort, safety, convenience, happiness and the individual needs of our residents 24 hours a day.

Meals: Our objective is to provide both excellent and varied cuisine which takes the residents individual needs, personal tates and special dietary needs firmly into consideration. The daily menu includes: Early morning tea, breakfast which can be served in bed if residents prefer, mid-morning drink, lunch, afternoon tea, supper and evening drinks.

Eastcroft places special emphasis on recreational activities and residents are positively encourage to pursue their own particular interests and hobbies. In addition to regular shopping trips, occasional visits are also arranged to places of interest.

Coffee mornings, parties for residents, entertainment by visiting artists are regular events.
Other facilities include television, music, cards and various board games to provide constant stimulation.
