Dormers

Description

Dormers is located in a quiet residential area close to local amenities.  Care 

and accommodation is provided to older people some of who have dementia.  

At the present time the home is piloting an 8-bed rehabilitation unit for people 

suffering from Dementia, this is based in Heather wing.  A day centre for up to 

7 clients also operates within the home. 

The home is operated by Surrey County Council and was purpose built in 1982.  

Accommodation is arranged in 6 units at ground and first floor level.  Each unit 

has its own bathroom and toilet facilities and a communal lounge/dining area.  

All bedrooms are of single occupancy.  Offices are situated on the ground floor.  

All floors are accessed by means of a shaft lift.  The main kitchen is located on 

the ground floor.  In addition, part of each communal area is also equipped as 

a kitchenette.  The home has ample off street parking and an enclosed garden. 

The current fees for the service at the time of the visit are £554.96 per week.
