Ditton House

Description

Ditton House accommodates a maximum of four residents who have complex 

needs. The residents have learning difficulties in addition to other disabilities, 

which include physical disabilities and challenging behaviour. The 

accommodation is over two floors. It forms what was originally the Cottage 

Hospital in Thames Ditton. The site is shared with an Assessment Centre that 

provides some of the day care for residents. 

The home is located in a quiet residential area close to Thames Ditton railway 

station. The home has a shared access to the garden which, belongs to the day 

centre and is not accessible from the home, the only entry from Ditton House is 

out of the front door and walking to the side of the building, along the footpath 

and entering through two gates one locked.  

There are no parking spaces available on site; car parking is in the road. The 

service is now owned and managed by the Kingston Primary Care Trust.
