Description

Compasses are a service providing personal care and support to up to eleven

adults with learning disabilities, two of who may be over the age of 65 years.

The home is a large, terraced 18th century, listed building and is situated in

the main street in Chertsey, Surrey. The home was a public house in previous

years and is adjacent to a public house now. It is very close to all local

facilities and amenities, including shops and public transport and benefits from

good relationships with neighbours and the local community.

The property is owned and maintained by Central and Cecil Housing

Association. Welmede Housing Association Ltd works in partnership with the

North Surrey Primary Care Trust (NSPCT) who employs the staff. Welmede

runs a network of homes for people with learning disabilities.

Accommodation at the home is provided over three floors. Each service user

has a single bedroom with communal rooms located on the ground floor. A

self-contained, two bedroom flat is situated on the top floor, enabling two

service users to live semi-independently. There is a large garden to the rear of

the property, but no allocated parking. Car parking is available in nearby roads

or the local shopping centre.

Weekly cost £850.00.
