How we deliver... our approach to home care

We have invested in the introduction and implementation of national quality care standards, management controls, service level monitoring and skills training to deliver top quality service.

The cornerstone of our approach is the care plan which is the key document to manage the care programme. We carry out a professional needs assessment review at the outset along with a home risk analysis. This is used to write the service support proposal and care plan. This is continually re-assessed and formally reviewed. We believe the care plan works best when it involves all relevant family members.

Our people are our success! - We aim to attract the best carers.

We have developed innovative methods of recruitment and selection to find the right people. Our reputation attracts good carers and our training and pastoral support attracts newcomers to the care sector. Our service users tell us we have some of the very best carers.

Who we are... our background

Clarendon Home Care was established in 1994 by Jacqueline Jones who has many years practical experience as a home care organiser for a large local authority. The company has developed its comprehensive service range and scale of operations by providing well managed high quality care and support programmes that meet service users’ individual needs as well as referral partners' requirements.

We have developed our service delivery and capability to become the preferred supplier to a number of social services departments. We are proud of our achievements and growing reputation for quality home care support, but most of all we are proud of the proven track record and recognition our carers and support workers have built through their dedication and caring principles to support people in need.

The people we serve are recommended to approach us directly or referred to us by social services, Primary Care Trusts and hospital staff direct. Clarendon Home Care Ltd is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) and is a member of the United Kingdom Home Care Association (UKHCA) and a member of the Surrey Care Association.

Clarendon Home Care director John Strangwick is a UKHCA board member, director of Skills for Care, board member of the Surrey Care Association and on the London board of CSCI.
