BRAEMAR COURT is a magnificent Victorian building enjoying the spaciousness and splendour of a bygone age in the tranquillity of one of Guildford's more prestigious areas, and yet 500 yards from the High Street. Now skilfully converted into 19 suites, set in its own secluded gardens, it provides an ideal surrounding for those who wish to live gracefully and yet receive care and attention which will make their lives more comfortable.

ACCOMMODATION is provided in single or double bed sitting rooms each with en suite bathroom. Lift and stair lifts provide access to all floors. The home is centrally heated, fully carpeted, and fitted with assistance call system, TV and telephone points in each room. Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture and possessions to create a reassuring homely atmosphere. There are two lounges for the use of residents at all times.

CARE & MEDICAL: Residents rights of access to NHS services are preserved and their GP will continue to provide medical care at the Home. Residents can look after their own medication if they so wish and no medical treatment will be given without their consent. The Manager/Proprietor is a qualified SRN and is responsible for the day to day running of the home. Individual care plans are tailored to meet each resident need and they are continuously reviewed.

MEALS: All food is cooked on the premises using fresh supplies. Residents have a choice of meals and are consulted on menu planning. Breakfast, lunch and supper are served in the dining room, and morning coffee and afternoon tea in the lounge.

ACTIVITIES: Group activities are arranged through consultation with the residents, and attendance is up to the individual. These include exercises, bingo, slide shows, music, and singing etc. The local clergy gives Communion every fourth Sunday.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES: The services of a Dentist, Optician, Hairdresser and Chiropodist are retained by the home and will visit at regular intervals, or when required.

VISITING: Residents are encouraged to entertain their visitors in the lounge or the privacy of their rooms at all times. Door keys are issued to residents so they can come and go as they wish.

FEES: Fees are available on request and are fully inclusive of rent, food, care, laundry etc. paid monthly in advance.
