Alvington House

Alvington House is a privately owned care home which was first opened in

1986. Personal care and accommodation are provided for up to twenty-five

older people. The home is located in a residential area adjacent to Wary

common in Reigate. Local facilities and amenities are near by.

The premises are a large detached domestic property which has been

converted over the years into residential accommodation. The home is

presented across three floors with stair-lifts to access the second floor with

private accommodation on the third. Communal space consists of a large

communal sitting room, dining room and conservatory. All bedrooms are

currently used for single occupancy with some facility to provide shared

accommodation if needed. The vast majority of bedrooms provide en-suite

facilities. The home is set in its own grounds with the front paved to provide off

road parking and has a raised terrace, the rear garden provides a patio with

seating.

The home has an enclosed well-maintained garden to the rear of the house.

The fees at the home range from £420 pounds per week to £520 pounds per

week depending on the bedroom and the funding arrangements. Extra such as:

newspapers, hairdressing, chiropody, toiletries are additional costs. Refer to
