Description

Heathcote Road is a high support housing service for independent people who have a learning disability and mental health needs. Tenants who live at Heathcote Road have often moved on from a residential service and are ready to live more independently.
The focus is on preparing tenants to live within the community, developing their daily living skills and maximising their independence to enable them to move towards living in a house of their own.

We provide extensive person centred support plans so tenants can identify and achieve their ambitions such as gaining employment, college placements and developing their social life. Many of the tenants at Heathcote Road have a history of mental health or emotional and social needs so staff support tenants to increase their self-confidence and support them to constructively channel their emotions and energy.

Tenants who live at Heathcote Road are encouraged to develop their individuality to enable them to take control of their own lives, environment, finances and support. They are empowered to take responsibility for the running of their own home ensuring personal growth and self-esteem.

Heathcote Road is a large detached house situated in a quiet residential road in Epsom in Surrey. The service is a five minute walk from Epsom town centre where a wide range of local community facilities can be accessed.
